Our philosophy is built around clinician-owned, compassionate care that prioritizes each child’s dignity. We focus on trauma-informed support and practical skill development for families in Central Utah.
Yes, our services are delivered in-home. This allows us to provide personalized support in a familiar setting for families across Central Utah.
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) uses evidence-based science to build communication, daily living skills, and social independence. In-home and community therapy allows children to learn in the real-world environments where skills matter most.
No. Our focus is on teaching replacement behaviors—like functional communication (words, PECS, or AAC devices), self-advocacy, and emotional coping mechanisms—so children can express their needs peacefully.

Yes! Ascent ABA is in-network with Utah Medicaid and Molina Healthcare. Under state regulations, covered Medicaid services incur $0 out-of-pocket co-pays or balance bills for eligible families.
After our 60-second feasibility check and face-to-face evaluation, our BCBAs operate on a strict 14-day clock to finalize your child’s customized Behavior Support Plan (BSP) and submit it for authorization.
Yes! Because insurance panels prohibit holding dual authorizations at the same time, we help you obtain an official Discharge Summary from your current agency to fast-track a seamless transition.
Yes. An adult legal guardian (18+) must remain on-site at all times. ABA is 1:1 clinical healthcare, not a childcare, babysitting, or respite service.
No, we do not provide diagnostic testing. However, once your child receives a formal ASD diagnosis from a qualified medical provider, our team fast-tracks your intake to begin in-home therapy immediately.
To satisfy insurance requirements, the evaluation must be completed by a Qualified Mental Health Provider (QMHP), such as a licensed psychologist, child psychiatrist, or developmental pediatrician. We have usually recommended Autism360.
